Alley Cats is back at Falcon Bowl, and this time we’re getting spooky. Join us for a MEOWLOWEEN hangout for anyone who loves Milwaukee’s community cats and wants to help ’em out. Costumes highly encouraged!

We’ll have adoptable cats hanging out in the Falcon Nest for meet-and-greets from 12PM–2PM (first come, first served), plus plenty to do in Falcon Hall while you wait. Grab some markers and get weird with our Halloween coloring sheets, and play cat-themed games.

Riverwest local, Peach Beast will be on site selling cat-themed & spooky accessories, with a portion of sales going to Urban Cat Coalition. We’ll also have a donation station stocked with a wishlist of supplies for Urban Cat Coalition, so bring what you can. Priority items are listed below. (Have cat and/or Halloween-themed items & interested in vending? Email marketing@falconbowlmke.com!)

Grab a Meowloween-themed cocktail from the bar, and we’ll toss $1 from each one into the donation pot. Bowling more your thing? Games are $20, with half going directly to Urban Cat Coalition.

And once the cats clock out for the day, stick around for a live set from Milwaukee’s own cat-themed extraordinaires The Hissy Kits at 2:30PM.

Suggested donation at the door is $5–$10. Maybe you’re looking to adopt. Maybe you just want a cocktail, some Halloween nonsense, and an afternoon of cats and live music. Either way, come hang. It’s a good time for a good cause.

About The Hissy Kits:

The Hissy Kits, Whiskie and Scotch, are two former alley cats rescued by Ruby Rae’s Hideaway, a clandestine supper club near the Milwaukee airport. After customers went home and Ruby Rae had gone to bed, Whiskie and Scotch secretly taught themselves to play the piano and theremin on the club’s instruments.

 Recording artists with three studio albums, they now wander far beyond their supper club home, bringing vintage jazz and original Feline Expressionism® to taverns, museums, bowling alleys, breweries, and other venues across the United States wherever a cat might like to go.

About Urban Cat Coalition: 

Urban Cat Coalition is dedicated to helping create a no-kill community by humanely reducing the community cat population in the Milwaukee area through targeted trap-neuter-return (TNR). They conduct targeted trapping and support community cat caretakers by being a resource to provide guidance with trapping and colony care. They educate the community on cat overpopulation and the benefits of TNR.
