in shining armour is a Milwaukee based two-piece rock band that consists of singer/guitarist Seth Kaplan and drummer Aidan Hoppens.

spirit hound is the band’s debut EP, blending the catchy hooks of early 2000's indie-emo with intense distorted guitars and heavy hitting drums. The contrast between the vocals and instrumentals create a unique and dynamic sound that gives emphasis and sincerity to the lyrical content which explores feelings of melancholy with a somewhat optimistic approach.

spirit hound was recorded in Fort Collins, Colorado with Corey Coffman at his studio, “Deep Down”. With Coffman's expertise, the EP maintains the spirit of the duo, keeping the core instruments at focus, almost sounding like a live recording, but still providing a lush and powerful sound of a full band.
