One too many late night jam sessions spurred Noah Rueckl (Bass & Vocals), Evan Hummer (Keys), Jake Ringelstetter (Guitar) to start writing music together, hoping to find a drummer. After a drunken meeting in an elevator, Dave Williams joined the band on drums, and they started playing around Milwaukee.

Mixing shades of garage rock with synths, harmonies, and tasty key solos, Sushi Cowboy creates a familiar but unique sound. The band released their first three singles starting in July 2023, following it up with their debut self-titled EP in January of 2024.
